Website information and policies.
Effective date: September 1, 2026
These terms concern use of the Custos by Sophrono website and its pages, graphics, and other digital content. Custos is a service of Sophrono.
By using the website, you agree to these website terms. Security reviews, testing, policy work, monitoring, and other professional engagements are governed by their signed engagement letters and rules of engagement.
Each engagement is confirmed by a written engagement letter. Testing of any system happens only under a signed authorization and rules of engagement.
A signed service agreement controls any conflict concerning the services it covers.
You may use the website for personal, informational, and lawful business purposes.
You may not misuse the site, introduce harmful code, misrepresent your identity, or attempt unauthorized access to its systems.
Automated access, redistribution, republication, framing, and mirroring require prior written permission.
Website content, design, code, and marks belong to Sophrono or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Reproduction of website content, including the sample finding, requires prior written permission.
These terms grant no right to use Sophrono or Custos marks. Rights in reports and other deliverables are addressed in the signed engagement letter.
When you submit an inquiry, you authorize use of that information to process and respond to the request and send related operational communications.
An ordinary inquiry or download does not subscribe you to marketing email. A subscription requires an explicit choice: the optional newsletter checkbox or a subscription form.
A form submission or subscription does not create a client relationship or service agreement. The Privacy page explains information handling.
Website materials are general information and education. They are not professional advice or a recommendation for your specific circumstances.
We make no express or implied warranties about completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability. You are responsible for decisions made using the content.
Examples on the website are illustrative. Assessments report what was tested within an agreed scope; none can show that a system is free of every weakness.
External links are offered for reference. Their operators control their own content, availability, services, and privacy practices.
A link does not constitute endorsement or responsibility for the external resource.
To the extent permitted by law, Sophrono is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or its content.
This applies to website content errors, availability, harmful code, unauthorized access, and other matters concerning website use.
Liability for professional services is governed by the signed service agreement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sophrono and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from your misuse or violation of these terms.
This includes associated losses, expenses, and reasonable legal fees, to the extent permitted by law.
These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Updated terms take effect when posted with a revised effective date. Continued website use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
These website terms and the Privacy page govern website use and digital content. They do not modify an MSA, statement of work, NDA, or other signed contract.
